Let’s be real, okay? Life is messy.
We live in a society where we’re always busy comparing ourselves to “that friend.”
(You know the one.)
She’s always posting pictures online of her perfectly polished life and children. Her house is not only beautifully decorated but there are never any dishes in the sink. She plans all the projects, is involved in everything, and still has a smile on her face. She has her life 100% together.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not that girl.
I’m a huge proponent in building community everywhere I go though, so as future friends, there are a few things you should know about me.
I am a fourth-generation Californian who followed adventure and moved to Arizona in 2014. Now, I call Arizona home and I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
I’m engaged to a girl who I can’t wait to have all the life adventures with. We love to be outside and have recently added surfing and paddle boarding to our repertoire. One day, we hope to own land that we plan to fill with horses, goats, and chickens.
Cards Against Humanity with friends around a huge table is my ideal way to spend an evening. Curling up on the couch, binge-watching Gilmore Girls and Friends on Netflix is my definition of relaxation. Target is my second home.
I’m a dream chasing, special education teaching, foster care and adoption advocating girl.
I feel like my mission in life is to check everything off my bucket list.
I wholeheartedly believe that we can all add more laughter into the world.
In all its realness, your life is filled with joy, sorrow, and love.
If you want to remember your life, I’d love to help you capture it.
Your life may be a little messy but that just means you’re living it to the fullest.
